Stage 1 – Pre-draft consultation on the Galway City Development Plan commenced on 7 January 2021 and ran until 5 March 2021. The Chief Executive has now issued his report on Stage 1 of the process, which reviews the submissions from the public consultation and includes his recommendations for the new plan.

GCCN would like to extend an invitation to all interested members to join the feedback meeting held on May 18th at 6pm to facilitate a collective review of the Chief Executive’s report.

A follow-up meeting with City Councillors is currently organised by GCCN for June. The focus of this meeting will be on sharing with the Elected Members any areas of concern and recommendations for inclusion in the Galway City Development Plan.
