GCCN Submission – Applying Common Sense to the draft Parks, Open Spaces & Beaches Byelaws

GCCN Meeting to discuss a response to the draft Byelaws to be held on Monday September 26th at 6.30pm in the Westside Community Resource Centre.
Galway City Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Part 19 of the Local Government Act, 2001, as amended by the Local Government Reform Act, 2014 proposes to make Bye-Laws in respect of Parks, Open Spaces & Beaches.A copy of the proposed draft Bye-Laws is available for inspection at the offices of the City Council, Customer Services Desk, College Road, Galway, between the hours of 9am to 4pm from Thursday 25th August, 2016 to Thursday 22nd September, 2016.A copy of the proposed draft Bye-Laws, or any part thereof, may be obtained on application to Galway City Council.Representations or submissions may be made to the Recreation & Amenity Department, Galway City Council in writing, by the person not later than 4pm on Thursday, 6th October, 2016 and any such representations or submissions shall be considered by the City Council prior to making the Bye-Laws.
