Do you know about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) currently being negotiated between the EU and the US? What about the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the EU?
Many communities are concerned about the threats these deals could pose to democracy, public services, food safety, workers’ rights, and the environment. So, what can be done?
This event has been organised by Galway City Community Network and Galway One World Centre to help us all to:
• Learn more about the potential impact of TTIP and CETA on communities and sustainable development here and abroad; and
• Develop a plan of action
• Professor Terry McDonough
