Join Saolta and GCCN to explore the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The sessions will explore how the 17 Goals support the pillars of Social Inclusion, Voluntary and Community Services, and Environmental work of member groups of GCCN. These workshops will cover topics relating to the social and environmental issues facing communities locally while also connecting them to global challenges.
We’ll also take an action-orientated approach to capacity building by using the SDGs as a framework to increase participation and meeting Ireland’s targets as set out in the SDG National Implementation Plan 2022-2025, to meet the challenges facing society today and to build prosperity for the future.
The sessions will include opportunities to connect with others using the principles of Global Citizenship Education to empower, inspire action and affect change.
