Supporting a Thriving Social Enterprise Sector for Galway

On Friday, October 29th join Social Future: Supporting a Thriving Social Enterprise Sector for Galway to engage in a dialogue on how a thriving social enterprise sector could be supported in Galway.

The event will be held in St. Josephs Community Centre in Shantalla from 10.30am to 12noon and it will explore the potential of the social enterprise sector in Galway.

Three local social enterprises (An Mheitheal RotharBounce Back Recycling and Galway Community Circus) will share their models of good practice and demonstrate the cross-cutting social policy areas that social enterprises are delivering on.

The event will also examine the challenges that the sector is facing and solutions that would foster the development of a thriving social enterprise sector both in Galway and nationally.

The event aims to bring together social enterprises, decision makers and policy makers, locally and nationally, to create a space for dialogue on these challenges and to find solutions.

This is an in-person event, but if people cannot attend in person we will also facilitate online participation.

To register for this event, please contact development@gccn.ie and specify if you will attend online or in person.
