Project Ceannt Project Ceannt is a major development in the heart of Galway City and is implementing a consultation process. See below for an invitation from the project.
In Phase 1 of the Public Consultation process, we received over 500 engagements and 100’s of helpful suggestions from the Public, through our survey process on the Project Ceannt website. In addition, we have conducted over 2,000 interviews across Galway City and County which have provided us with critical information that will help make Project Ceannt a success.
I am delighted to tell you that we are now in a position to launch Phase 2 of the Project and to that end, we now invite you, and some of your members, to meet the Project Ceannt team and participate in the future Masterplanning of Project Ceannt.
The Northern and Western Regional Assembly has prepared a Draft Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy, following significant engagement and consultations over this previous 12 months. This includes the formal Pre-Draft RSES consultation that took place between November 2017 and February 2018. 124 written Submissions were received during that consultation process and were considered in the Directors Report to the Assembly Meeting in April, 2018. No. 436/2004 (as amended), accompanied by a Regional Flood Risk Appraisal Report. A Natura Impact Report (to inform the Appropriate Assessment) has also been prepared in accordance with Article 6 of the Habitats Directive.
