On Wednesday October 17th, the Mayor of Galway City, Councillor Niall McNelis, launched the Galway City LCDC Equality and Human Rights Statement, written as a tool to support the implementation of the Public Sector Duty to have regard to the need to Eliminate Discrimination, Promote Equality and Protect Human Rights.
