Two funding opportunities currently open for applications from qualifying Community & Voluntary Organisations, Charities and Social Enterprises:

  • COVID-19 Stability Fund: closing date – 3pm on Monday 10th August 2020
  • Innovate Together: closing date – 5pm on Wednesday 5th August 2020.

COVID-19 Stability Fund

The COVID 19 Stability Fund – Phase 2 is now open for applications from community and voluntary organisations, social enterprises and charitable organisations which are:

  • Registered with the Charities Regulator in Ireland
  • Are an unincorporated organisation i.e. are not set up as a company and are not registered with Companies Registration Office
  • Are providing supports and services to vulnerable individuals in Ireland on or before the 1st January 2019
  • Have projected loss in traded or fundraising income of 25% or more in 2020

The fund is being administered by Pobal on behalf of the Department of Rural and Community Development.

The closing date for applications is Monday the 10th of August at 3pm.

Philanthropy Fund – ‘Innovate Together’ 

The Philanthropy Fund – ‘Innovate Together’ has issued a second call for applications.

The Fund came to fruition through collaborative effort between the Government departments of Rural and Community Development, philanthropists and social innovators with the aim of meeting social challenges that emerged due to the COVID19 pandemic.

Those eligibile to apply include charity, social enterprise or voluntary organisations based in the Republic of Ireland who provide services in Irish communities.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Wednesday the 5th of August 2020.
