In September 2022, Access for All, in collaboration with Galway City Community Network welcomes the opportunity to submit to the Galway City Local Economic and Community Development Plan (LECP) 2023-2029.
This submission is built on the lived experience and expertise of Access for All members (including Disability Federation of Ireland, Galway City Partnership, and GCCN) and their recommendations for the inclusive development of Galway Citys economy, culture and communities are presented thematically under each of the five high level goals that will inform the forthcoming plan.
The themes of the recommendations are then linked to the relevant rights, UN Sustainable Development Goals, and International Agreements to illustrate how the integration of the recommendations into the LECP can achieve Public Sector Duty in Galway City.
